Troubleshooting

I can’t submit a comment

Try the following in order:

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Disable AdBlock for the site — some ad blockers also block comment scripts. See disable AdBlock.
  3. Check the error message — if it says your account is blocked, contact the site’s publisher.
  4. Try a different browser to rule out a browser extension conflict.

I can’t vote on a comment

Most “can’t vote” problems are an ad blocker or a third-party-cookie block. Disable AdBlock and try again. If you’re on Safari, see Safari cross-site tracking.

I can’t log in with Facebook or Twitter

  1. Pop-ups blocked? Vuukle opens social login in a pop-up. Allow pop-ups for this site.
  2. Third-party cookies disabled? Social-auth providers require third-party cookies. Re-enable in your browser settings for the duration of the login.
  3. Token expired? Sign out of the social network and back in, then try again.

If still stuck, sign up with email/password instead.

I didn’t get the password reset email

  • Check spam.
  • Make sure you typed the right email.
  • If your email is unverified (you signed up but never clicked the verification link), the reset email won’t arrive. Email support@vuukle.com — we can verify it manually.

I reset my password but still can’t log in

The password update may not have stuck. Try resetting again, then close every browser tab and re-open.

If the issue persists, the account may have been blocked at the site level (the site’s moderator has banned you). Comments you made there won’t appear, but you can still log in on other Vuukle-enabled sites.

Disable AdBlock

The exact steps depend on your ad blocker. For the most common ones:

  • uBlock Origin — click the uBlock icon in your toolbar, then the large blue power button to disable for this site, then reload.
  • AdBlock / AdBlock Plus — click the icon, Pause on this site, reload.
  • Brave Shields — click the lion icon, toggle Shields Down.

Safari cross-site tracking

Safari blocks third-party cookies by default which can prevent Vuukle’s login and voting from working.

  • Open Safari → Preferences → Privacy.
  • Uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking for the duration of your session.

You can re-enable it after you’re done — your login is preserved.

Why was my comment marked as spam?

Most spam flags come from the auto-moderator scoring the comment over the publisher’s threshold (links, repeated text, banned words). You can usually re-post a rewritten version without the trigger.

My comment was deleted or my account is blocked — who did that?

The publisher of the site you commented on controls moderation. Vuukle doesn’t intervene in publisher decisions. If you think the decision was wrong, reach out to the site directly.
