Add images and GIFs to a comment

Add an image

1. Click the image icon in the editor toolbar.
2. Select an image from your device.
3. Wait for the upload to finish — preview appears inline.
4. Click Submit.

Images must be PNG, JPG, GIF or WEBP, max 5MB.

Add a GIF

1. Click the GIF icon in the editor toolbar.
2. Search for a GIF — results come from Giphy.
3. Click the GIF you want — it’s inserted inline.
4. Click Submit.

GIF and image support is enabled by default, but a site admin can disable them — if you don’t see the buttons, the publisher has turned them off.
