Moderation overview

Vuukle’s moderation tooling sits inside the dashboard at dash.vuukle.com → your site → Moderation. It combines manual review (an approval queue) with automated filters (toxicity / spam ML) and blocklists.

Auto-moderation

Block IPs & emails

Block words

Auto-reject or queue comments containing specific words. Guide →

Character limit

The publishing pipeline

Each comment goes through this pipeline before it’s visible:

  1. Auth check — is the user logged in or anon? Has their account been blocked?
  2. Blocklist check — IP, email, banned words.
  3. Auto-moderation — toxicity score and spam score evaluated against your thresholds.
  4. Manual queue (if enabled) — if moderation is set to “approve before publish”, the comment lands in your queue.
  5. Publish — comment appears in the thread.

You decide the strictness at every step.
