Text formatting in comments

The comment editor toolbar exposes the following formatting:

• Bold — Ctrl/Cmd + B
• Italics — Ctrl/Cmd + I
• Underline — Ctrl/Cmd + U
• Bullet list — toolbar icon, or - at the start of a line.
• Numbered list — toolbar icon, or 1. at the start of a line.
• Blockquote — toolbar icon.
• Inline code — wrap with backticks: `code`.
• Text link — see add a text link.

Add a text link

1. Select the text you want to turn into a link.
2. Click the Link icon in the toolbar (or Ctrl/Cmd + K).
3. Paste the URL and click Apply.

Add bullet points

Click the bullet-list icon in the toolbar, or type - at the start of a line. Enter creates the next bullet; double-Enter exits the list.
