What’s on a public profile

Anyone can click your avatar to see:

• Your display name and avatar
• Your bio (if you set one)
• Your public comments
• Your followers and following count
• Articles you’ve recently commented on

Your email is never visible — even to other logged-in users.

Make your profile private

From your profile, open Settings → Privacy and toggle Private profile on. Once private:

• Only your display name and avatar are visible.
• Your comments still appear inline on articles, but clicking through to your profile shows no history.
• New users can’t follow you (existing followers are unaffected).
